Skoda India has announced a price increase across all its models effective October 1, 2026, citing rising input and operational costs. The revision varies by model and variant, with the maximum increase capped at Rs. 20,000 at the ex-showroom level, which works out to up to 1.2 percent depending on what you are buying.
The hike covers the full portfolio including the Kylaq, Slavia, Kushaq, Kodiaq, Octavia RS, and Superb.

Skoda is also not alone in this round of increases. Mahindra has been considering a fourth price hike this year across its SUV portfolio, and several other manufacturers have revised prices upward in recent months citing similar cost pressures.
What Is Coming Next From Skoda
Buyers considering a Skoda in October have two developments worth tracking. The Slavia facelift, which brings updated styling, a revised features list, and a new 8-speed automatic gearbox for the 1.0-litre TSI replacing the older torque converter unit, has its pricing set to be announced on October 6.
Skoda has also introduced a second batch of 50 units of the Octavia RS at Rs. 56.69 lakh ex-showroom, which is Rs. 6.70 lakh more than the first batch. If you were waiting on one, that is the price it now commands.
