The Defender Trophy Edition uses a 3.0-liter inline-six twin-turbo diesel with mild-hybrid assistance, producing 350 horsepower and 700 NM,  Its eight-speed automatic and standard four-wheel-drive system achieve 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 6.4 seconds, with a top speed of 191 kilometers per hour. Designed for torque-heavy off-road performance, it features Terrain Response modes for mud, sand, and rocks. Mileage

Neither SUV is designed for fuel efficiency, though mild-hybrid technology helps. The G450d averages around 9 to 10 kilometers per liter in real-world Indian conditions, while the Defender Trophy Edition manages 11 to 12 kilometers per liter according to ARAI certification, thanks to lighter weight and improved aerodynamics.
