The model is is being offered exclusively to existing owners of Mercedes-Benz top-end vehicles. Bookings for this model are open now, with deliveries scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2025.
This version of the G 63 is not just another cosmetic update. It’s the first time that Mercedes-Benz has created a G-Class variant inspired entirely by India. The G 63 Collector’s Edition has two exclusive India-specific colours – Mid Green Magno and Red Magno. These matte-finish Manufaktur paint options have been chosen to reflect India’s natural hues: Mid Green Magno draws inspiration from the lush greenery of the monsoons, while Red Magno symbolises the country’s rich, iron-laden soil.
Adding to the exclusivity, a distinctive ‘One of Thirty’ badge adorns the spare wheel cover, highlighting the limited nature of this edition. The side body cladding receives a special textured finish unique to this version. Completing the exterior package are 22-inch AMG alloy wheels finished in a rich gold tone, complementing the overall regal and earthy theme.
Interior

Step inside the G 63 Collector’s Edition and you’re greeted with a lavish yet personalised cabin. The highlight here is the two-tone Manufaktur Catalana Beige and Black Nappa leather seat upholstery, which lends a rich contrast to the otherwise rugged nature of the G-Class. Accentuating the luxury feel is the open-pore natural walnut wood trim across the dashboard and doors.
Perhaps the most exclusive feature is the option for buyers to have their names engraved on the dashboard’s passenger grab handle. This single touch turns an already rare SUV into a truly individualised masterpiece.
Performance
Mechanically, the G 63 Collector’s Edition retains the mighty AMG performance under the hood. It is powered by the 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine, now enhanced with a 48V mild-hybrid system. The motor continues to deliver 585hp and 850Nm, while the mild-hybrid system offers a temporary boost of 22hp for quicker acceleration and improved efficiency.
Paired with a 9-speed AMG SPEEDSHIFT TCT automatic transmission, the power is distributed to all four wheels via the robust 4Matic AWD system. Mercedes-Benz claims that this heavy yet potent SUV can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds, a feat that’s nothing short of astounding for a ladder-frame SUV.

Only 30 units of the G 63 Collector’s Edition are being offered in India, and they are strictly available to existing Mercedes top-end clientele. Mercedes-Benz has seen strong traction for its G-Class line-up in the country, with the regular G 63 itself facing a waiting period of 12–18 months.
To cater to this growing demand, Mercedes has even established a dedicated ‘G Corner’ at its flagship showroom in Delhi, offering prospective G-Class owners a dedicated brand experience.
