XUV 7XOExterior
The Mahindra XUV 7XO has finally been revealed, with new colors, revised styling and updated adas. You get striking half C shaped LED DRLs, sleek trapezoidal LED headlamps, a revised grille, new alloy wheels riding on big 19-inch rims, and connected LED tail-lamps
XUV 7XO Interior And Infotainment
Inside, Mahindra has focused heavily on space, light and technology. The cabin feels airy and premium, thanks to a light-filled layout, mood lighting and two new interior themes called Lumina White and Chestnut Brown. A coast-to-coast triple touch screen setup dominates the dashboard, combining the digital instrument cluster, infotainment display and a dedicated passenger screen
Every seat is treated as important, with equal attention given to the third row in both six- and seven-seat layouts.
The Mahindra XUV 7XO pushes the cabin experience to a new level with a Snapdragon 8155-powered cockpit that runs Mahindra’s Cinemascape system across three screens, letting occupants stream their favourite OTT content or even watch a cricket match simultaneously on all displays using BYOPD support.
It becomes the first SUV in its segment to offer both Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, turning the cabin into a true theatre on the go through a 16-speaker, 1400W Harman Kardon setup with immersive 3D audio and vehicle noise compensation that actively cancels outside sounds.
VenueScapes further enhances the experience with audio profiles inspired by the Boston Symphony Orchestra or Wembley Stadium. Comfort and wellbeing are boosted by solar shield glass that filters UV rays to keep the cabin up to 7 percent cooler, high-density foam seats with front and rear ventilation, three ambient lighting modes, and seamless ChatGPT and Alexa integration for the first time in a Mahindra SUV.
Comfort features include a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, Boss Mode for the front passenger, dual-zone climate control, wireless charging and a 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system with Dolby Atmos. Mahindra has also reworked the suspension using DaVinci dampers integrated at both the front and rear to deliver a more composed and comfortable ride.
XUV 7XO Safety
Safety is a major highlight. The XUV 7XO gets up to 75 safety features, including a 540-degree camera system, electronic parking brake with auto hold and ISOFIX mounts. It uses a Mobileye 6-based Level 2 ADAS system with a radar detection range of up to 250 metres.
An advanced 8MP camera, backed by a more powerful machine learning algorithm, improves detection of cows and two-wheelers, a first for ADAS in the Indian ICE SUV space. Mahindra says the SUV has been engineered with a clear focus on achieving a five-star Bharat NCAP rating.
XUV 7XO Engines
Under the hood, engine options remain familiar but capable. The 2.0-litre turbo petrol produces strong performance with up to 197 bhp 380 Nm of torque, while the 2.2-litre diesel delivers an impressive 182 hp and 450 Nm. Both engines are offered with 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter automatic gearboxes, and the diesel continues to offer AWD on select variants.
Mahindra designer Pratap Bose sums up the philosophy best, saying the XUV 7XO is inspired by the world around us. With bold design, a tech-loaded cabin and a strong focus on safety and comfort, the XUV 7XO aims to raise the bar in the premium three-row SUV segment.
XUV 7XO Variants And Pricing
Mahindra has streamlined the XUV 7XO lineup by dropping the older MX trims entirely, with the SUV now offered only in AX-series variants: AX3, AX5, AX7, AX7 Tech and the fully loaded AX7 L. Every single variant comes powered by Mahindra’s Adrenox connected tech suite, making advanced digital features standard across the range.
Interestingly, nearly 80 percent of overall sales are expected to come from the AX7 family alone, underlining its popularity. In terms of pricing, the AX7 diesel manual starts at ₹18.95 lakh, while the range-topping AX7 L diesel manual is priced at ₹22.47 lakh, positioning it as the most premium and tech-focused version of the XUV 7XO
