Lexus Smart Ownership Plan: ES, NX, and RX Now More Accessible than Ever

Lexus India has taken a progressive step forward, introducing a Smart Ownership Plan for its popular ES, NX, and RX models, offering customers a more flexible and stress-free way to own a Lexus. Alongside this, the brand’s industry-leading 8-year/1,60,000 km warranty, introduced in 2024, further enhances peace of mind for those who prefer long-term ownership.
What is the Lexus Smart Ownership Plan?
The Lexus Smart Ownership Plan enables buyers to enjoy the luxury of driving a Lexus without being burdened by the typical expenses associated with traditional car ownership. Thanks to this initiative, customers can bring home a Lexus ES, NX, or RX through structured EMIs, making ownership more affordable and predictable. Lexus provides a Guaranteed Future Value (GFV) for the car, ensuring the customers know exactly what their Lexus will be worth when the EMI period comes to an end.
The customers will then have three options - return the car with no additional costs, pay the GFV and continue owning the vehicle, or upgrade to a new Lexus, ensuring they can enjoy the latest model every 3-5 years.
This plan eliminates the stress of depreciation, resale value fluctuations, and the hassle of selling a luxury car in the pre-owned market. It also offers customers the freedom to upgrade to new Lexus models more frequently, a significant benefit in a rapidly evolving automotive landscape.
The Lexus Line-up Under the Smart Ownership Plan
Lexus ES

The Lexus ES is one of the luxury carmaker’s most popular models globally and in India. It comes with a 2.5-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine paired with a strong hybrid system, delivering both efficiency and refinement. With a combined output of 176 bhp and 221 Nm, the ES strikes a balance between performance and fuel economy, making it an excellent choice for both chauffeur-driven and self-driving customers. Premium features include a plush interior finished in Takumi craftsmanship, a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and a comprehensive suite of Lexus Safety System+ features.
Lexus NX

Positioned as a luxury mid-size SUV, the Lexus NX is powered by a 2.5-litre petrol-hybrid powertrain producing 240 bhp and 390 Nm, with an all-wheel-drive system for added confidence on the road. Its sharp design language, spacious interiors, and modern connectivity features make it ideal for young professionals and families looking for a stylish yet practical luxury SUV.
Lexus RX
The Lexus RX is the flagship car in this ownership plan, offering a more commanding presence and advanced hybrid powertrains. Customers can choose from the RX 350h powered by a 2.5-litre petrol-hybrid, or the more performance-oriented RX 500h F Sport, which gets a 2.4-litre turbo-petrol hybrid producing 371 hp and 550 Nm. Both variants come with Lexus’ signature refinement, advanced driver assistance systems, and a luxurious cabin designed for long-distance comfort.
Lexus’s 8-Year/1,60,000 km Warranty
In June 2024, Lexus India introduced a standard 8-year/1,60,000 km warranty across its entire model range. For customers who prefer retaining their vehicles for the long term, this warranty provides unmatched peace of mind by covering critical components, including the hybrid battery and powertrain. It ensures that the ownership experience remains worry-free even well beyond the standard warranty period offered by most competitors.
Apart from the ES, NX, and RX, Lexus’s India lineup includes the LM MPV and the LX SUV, which is their flagship model.
Lexus LM

The Lexus LM is unlike anything else on Indian roads. Designed as a luxury MPV, the LM is offered in both four-seater and seven-seater layouts, with the four-seater featuring two massive reclining lounge chairs, massage functions, an airline-style ottoman, and even a 48-inch widescreen display for entertainment.
Powering it is a 2.5-litre petrol-hybrid engine that produces 190 bhp and 239 Nm of torque, paired with an e-CVT gearbox. The LM prioritises quietness and comfort over outright speed, perfect for those who prefer to be driven. Prices range from ₹2.10 crore to ₹2.62 crore ex-showroom.
Lexus LX
The Lexus LX sits at the very top of the brand’s SUV line-up, combining rugged capability with world-class luxury. Sharing its platform with the legendary Toyota Land Cruiser, the LX in India comes with a 3.3-litre twin-turbo V6 diesel engine, producing 305 bhp and 700 Nm of torque, mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission with full-time 4WD.
Inside, it offers a plush and spacious cabin with premium leather, advanced driver-assist features, and Lexus’ latest tech. With its imposing presence and serious off-road ability, the LX feels at home conquering mountain trails as well as arriving at luxury hotels. Prices range from ₹2.82 crore to ₹3.12 crore ex-showroom.
By offering the Smart Ownership Plan alongside the industry-leading warranty, Lexus India has created a unique ownership ecosystem that caters to different types of customers - those who enjoy upgrading to the latest luxury car every few years, as well as those who prefer keeping their cars for the long haul with the assurance of extended protection.
This dual approach makes Lexus ownership more accessible, flexible, and desirable than ever before.
