Nissan India is set to launch its new C-segment SUV, the Nissan Tekton, in mid-2026. Positioned to compete with the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and the upcoming Renault Duster, the Tekton marks a significant step in Nissan's expansion in the Indian market.
The Tekton's design draws heavily from the global Nissan Patrol, evident in its bold front grille, flared wheel arches, and sculpted body lines. The front features a trapezoidal grille with twin chrome bars and a centrally positioned Nissan logo. C-shaped LED headlamps, connected by a light bar, enhance its distinctive look.
The side profile showcases flared wheel arches and multi-spoke alloy wheels, while the rear is highlighted by C-shaped LED tail-lights and a prominent rear spoiler.

Inside, the Tekton boasts a triple-tone dashboard, combining soft-touch materials, glossy black accents, and a copper-colored strip running from the central infotainment screen to the side AC vents.
While Nissan has not officially confirmed the engine specifications, the Tekton is anticipated to be offered with petrol-only powertrains. Given the shared platform with the Renault Duster, it's expected that the Tekton will share similar engine options, though official details will be revealed closer to the launch.
