Jawa Bikes

Jawa, a brand etched in the memory of Indian motorcycling, carries a rich legacy of nostalgia and rugged performance. Originally a Czechoslovakian manufacturer, Jawa made its foray into India in the 1960s, quickly becoming a cultural icon. Its motorcycles were celebrated for their distinctive design, robust build, and the signature twin-stroke exhaust note that once echoed on Indian streets.

After a long hiatus, the legendary brand was resurrected in India by Classic Legends, a subsidiary of Mahindra & Mahindra, to the delight of enthusiasts. Today, Jawa continues its journey by offering a range of modern classic motorcycles that pay homage to their heritage. The bikes primarily play in the 300-350cc engine capacity segment, featuring liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engines that blend retro aesthetics with modern engineering.

The lineup includes models like the timeless models like Jawa 42 and the factory-custom bobber, the Jawa Perak. These motorcycles are characterized by their classic round headlamps, sculpted fuel tanks, and an emphasis on a comfortable, upright riding posture, reminiscent of the golden era of motorcycling. The bikes are positioned in the premium commuter and lifestyle segment, with a general price range of approximately ₹1.75 lakh to ₹2.20 lakh (ex-showroom).
