India’s two-wheeler market witnessed impressive growth in October 2025 as festive demand and a GST rate cut boosted customer sentiment. Major manufacturers including Honda, TVS, Bajaj, Suzuki, and Royal Enfield posted year-on-year growth, while Hero MotoCorp slipped behind Honda for the month. 

The overall sales momentum reflects renewed consumer confidence, strong product portfolios, and expanding export markets.

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI)

Honda topped the sales chart with 6,50,596 units sold in October 2025, which included 5,98,952 units in the domestic market and 51,644 units in exports. The company recorded 9 percent year-on-year and 15 percent month-on-month growth. Honda also achieved a major milestone by crossing 35 million sales for its popular Activa scooter, reaffirming its leadership in the Indian two-wheeler segment.

Hero MotoCorp

Hero sold 6,35,808 two-wheelers in October 2025, down 6.6 percent from 6,79,091 units sold a year ago. However, it registered 9,94,690 units on the VAHAN portal, reflecting strong retail demand. The Splendor, Xpulse, and Glamour X continued to be the company’s top performers. Hero also unveiled the Xpulse 210 Dakar Edition and Hunk 440 SX at EICMA 2025 to strengthen its product lineup

TVS Motor Company

TVS Motor Company recorded total two-wheeler sales of 5,25,150 units, marking a 10 percent increase over October 2024. Domestic sales grew to 4,21,631 units, while exports reached 1,03,519 units. Motorcycles registered a 16 percent rise to 2,66,715 units and scooters saw a 7 percent increase to 2,05,919 units. TVS also showcased Norton motorcycles for India at EICMA 2025, highlighting its growing premium focus.

Bajaj Auto

Bajaj sold 4,42,316 two-wheelers in October 2025, reflecting a 7 percent growth over 4,14,372 units sold a year ago. Domestic sales contributed 2,66,470 units with 4 percent growth, while exports touched 1,75,846 units, up 11 percent. Between April and October 2025, Bajaj sold 24,60,094 two-wheelers, registering 3 percent year-to-date growth. The brand continues to benefit from its strong export presence.

Suzuki Motorcycle India

Suzuki achieved its highest-ever monthly sales of 1,29,261 units in October 2025, marking an 8 percent year-on-year increase. Domestic sales stood at 1,03,454 units, while exports grew a massive 71 percent to 25,807 units. This record-breaking month underlines Suzuki’s rising popularity in both local and global markets.

Royal Enfield

Royal Enfield sold 1,24,951 motorcycles in October 2025, up 13 percent from 1,10,574 units a year earlier. Domestic sales reached 1,16,844 units (up 15 percent), while exports fell 7 percent to 8,107 units. The company achieved its best-ever festive season performance with over 2.49 lakh units sold across September and October.

 It also showcased the Himalayan 750 and Bullet 650 at EICMA 2025, further strengthening its international appeal.
