As 2026 approaches, many bike makers are planning to make their lineups dearer. Here is every two-wheeler maker who have confirmed the price hike

BMW Motorrad is set to increase prices by up to 6% on all models, from India-assembled G 310 RR and CE 02 to premium CBU bikes like the R 1300 GSA and M 1000 RR.

This price revision  entry-level locals and the full CBU range: F 900 GS/GSA, R 1300 GS/GSA, M 1000 RR/R, S 1000 RR/R, R 18 Transcontinental, R 12 Nine T, R 1250 RT, K 1600 B/GTL/GA, C 400 GT, CE 04.

Ather Energy, a leading electric two-wheeler manufacturer in India, has officially announced a price increase of up to ₹3,000 across its entire scooter portfolio, effective January 1, 2026. 

his adjustment impacts popular models like the 450 series and family-oriented Rizta, driven by escalating input costs, adverse foreign exchange fluctuations, and global supply chain disruptions.

Triumph Motorcycles

Triumph Speed 400

Triumph Motorcycles plans to hike the ex-showroom prices across its bike lineup from January 1, 2026. 

The increase comes from a new, higher GST rate on motorcycles over 350cc, part of the updated GST 2.0 rules. Triumph must now add this cost to prices.

The company has not shared the exact amount of the price rise yet. In the past, Triumph chose not to pass on the extra GST costs, keeping prices unchanged for buyers. During festive times, it even gave special deals on models like the Speed 400 and Speed T4.

Buyers have a short time left in 2025 to get a Triumph home with the current prices.
