The MG 4 EV has been on India's radar since its Auto Expo 2023 debut, and a launch is still anticipated. Globally, it's a purpose-built electric hatchback with rear-wheel drive, up to 64kWh battery, and a WLTP range of up to 450km, quite unlike anything else in its expected price bracket here.

4 EV

The MG Gloster is based on the Maxus D90 platform and carries a name that evokes British MG heritage. Its design draws inspiration from the 'art of surfing,' giving it a bold stance highlighted by the signature octagon grille. It is powered by two 2.0-litre diesel engines, a single-turbo and a twin-turbo unit, both paired exclusively with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The twin-turbo variant offers intelligent 4WD with seven terrain modes. It prioritizes a spacious, premium cabin, ADAS, and advanced connectivity via the i-SMART 2.0 system.

Gloster

The MG Gloster (2020-2022) was MG's flagship full-size SUV in India, available with a 2.0-litre turbo and twin-turbo diesel paired to an 8-speed automatic. This generation was phased out in 2022 and replaced by an updated version of the Gloster that carried on until the MG Majestor arrived in 2026.
