The Honda Elevate facelift gets a new front design, connected LED tail lamp, ventilated seats, power-adjustable front seats and a 10.25-inch touchscreen on upper trims. Honda SENSING also adds Low Speed Follow on CVT variants, while the 1.5-litre petrol engine and dimensions remain unchanged.

The Honda City remains a popular choice in the midsize sedan segment, available with a refined 1.5-litre petrol engine or an efficient strong hybrid. With its recent facelift, it continues offering a blend of comfort, efficiency, and advanced safety features for urban and highway use.

Honda is evaluating a new sub-4 metre SUV for India, expected to arrive in late 2028 with production starting in October that year. The SUV could use a Horse Powertrain-sourced 1.2-litre engine, with petrol, hybrid and CNG powertrains under consideration. Honda has not confirmed the final engine or specifications. It will mark the brand's return to the compact SUV segment after the WR-V's discontinuation in 2023.

The Honda Jazz impressed on practicality, with its Magic Seat system folding to free up enormous boot space. The second-generation model, on sale in India from 2015, was offered in petrol and diesel until BS6 dropped the diesel. It was discontinued in early 2023 after BS6 Phase 2 made the existing petrol engine non-viable. It was not replaced with a successor in India.

Jazz

The 4th gen Honda City arrived in India in 2014 and stayed on even after the 5th gen model launched in 2020. Running a 1.5-litre petrol in its final years as a petrol-manual only offering, it was discontinued in early 2023 when BS6 Phase 2 norms made the powertrain non-viable. It was not replaced with a separate entry-level model.

The Honda WR-V (2020-2023) was a Jazz-based crossover that offered a raised ride height and a slightly more purposeful stance. The 2020 facelift brought revised styling and updated features, with a 1.5-litre petrol as its sole BS6 powertrain. Sales were slow amid sharp competition. Discontinued in April 2023, it was eventually succeeded in spirit by the Honda Elevate.

WR-V 2020-2023

The Honda Elevate 2023-2026 offered a refined engine, generous cabin space, comfortable ride quality and useful technology. Backed by Honda's reliability and relatively simple powertrain, it was a dependable option in the mid-size SUV segment during its 2023-2026 run.

Elevate 2023-2026

The Honda City (2020-2023) was the pre-facelift run of the fifth-generation City, offered with a 1.5-litre petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel in manual and CVT/DCT options. The hybrid variant also joined in 2022. It was discontinued in early 2023 and was replaced by the facelifted City with a revised front end, new ADAS suite, and a diesel-free petrol-only powertrain lineup.

City 2020-2023

The Honda City (2023-2026) has been discontinued and replaced by the facelifted Honda City, launched on 22 May 2026.
