The dual-tone beige-and-black interior with faux wood accents on the dashboard creates an airy, upscale ambiance, though the hard plastics on the dash and doors are a reminder of its budget-friendly nature. 

The 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, paired with a 4-speaker setup that suffices for casual listening. Automatic climate control maintains a comfortable cabin temperature, complemented by rear AC vents with adjustable airflow—a benefit for second- and third-row passengers. 

The second-row captain seats slide and recline, offering excellent comfort and flexibility, while the third row is best suited for children or smaller adults due to limited legroom and a slightly upright backrest. Notably, the ventilated cup holders in the front console are a practical touch, keeping drinks cool.

Additional features include push-button start, cruise control, and a multi-information display showing fuel economy and range. Boot space starts at 209 liters with all seats up, expanding to 550 liters with the third row folded (60:40 split) and over 1000 liters with both rows down, providing ample cargo space.

The rear showcases LED taillamps and a clean layout. Measuring 4420mm in length, 1735mm in width, and 1690mm in height, with a 2740mm wheelbase, it offers a compact yet roomy footprint. 

The five color options—Spunky Blue, Rustic Brown, Iconic Grey, Cafe White, and Enticing Silver—provide a range of choices, with Rustic Brown standing out as a bold pick.

The Rumion V Automatic is equipped with dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, and ISOFIX child seat mounts. 

The V trim enhances safety with side airbags, a rear parking camera, and hill hold assist for the automatic variant. Additional safety features include speed-sensing door locks and an engine immobilizer. However, there's no Global NCAP rating yet, and the Ertiga's 1-star score raises questions about its crashworthiness, despite Toyota's reputation for building sturdy vehicles.

The Rumion competes with the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga ZXi+ AT (₹13.13 lakh), a nearly identical option with a lower price but less brand prestige. The Kia Carens Luxury AT (₹14.49 lakh) offers more features—such as a sunroof—but at a higher price point.
