Volkswagen India has launched its new flagship SUV, the Tayron R-Line, at an introductory ex-showroom price of ₹46.99 lakh.
The SUV is locally assembled at the company's plant in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra, helping keep costs competitive.
The Tayron R-Line sports strong R-Line styling, featuring slim Matrix LED headlights with a connected light bar and illuminated Volkswagen logos at both ends.
Gloss-black accents, a sporty bumper and 19-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels complete the bold look.

Buyers can choose from seven colours, including Nightshade Blue, Ultra Violet and Cipressino Green.
Power comes from a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol TSI engine that delivers 200 bhp and 320 Nm of torque. It is paired to a smooth 7-speed DCT and standard 4MOTION all-wheel drive.

The front seats offer 12-way power adjustment, ventilation, heating and massage functions.

Boot capacity is 345 litres with all seats in place. It expands to 850 litres when the third row is folded and reaches a maximum of 1,905 litres with both the second and third rows down.
