Toyota has officially entered the Indian electric vehicle market with the launch of its first all-electric SUV, the Urban Cruiser Ebella.
The Japanese automaker has introduced the top-spec E3 variant of the vehicle at an ex-showroom price of Rs 23.60 lakh.
Developed alongside the Maruti Suzuki e Vitara, the Ebella features a modern design language.

On the inside, the Ebella comes loaded with features like a dual-screen dashboard, ventilated front seats, and a premium JBL audio system.

Safety has been given top priority, with seven airbags included as standard, alongside a 360-degree camera and a Level 2 ADAS suite.
The Ebella's top-spec E3 variant is powered by a large 61kWh battery pack that drives a front-mounted electric motor, delivering a healthy 174 bhp and 189 Nm of torque.
More importantly, it promises an impressive ARAI-certified driving range of up to 543 km on a single charge.
Toyota is providing an 8-year battery warranty, an assured buyback program, and a flexible BaaS (Battery-as-a-Service) option.

The Ebella will compete against rival Electric SUVs like the Maruti e Vitara, MG Windsor EV, Tata Curvv EV, and the Hyundai Creta Electric.
