Renault India is set to announce the prices of the all-new Duster tomorrow, 17 March 2026.
The iconic SUV, which helped popularise the compact and midsize SUV segment when it first arrived in 2012, is making a strong comeback after production ended in 2022.
Pre-bookings opened earlier for a token amount of Rs 21,000, and customer deliveries of the initial petrol variants are expected to start in April 2026.
Renault Duster 2026 Design and Dimensions
The new Duster is built on the RGMP platform, featuring a fresh electrical and electronics architecture co-developed with Google, keeping Indian conditions in mind.
The front stands out with a large gloss-black grille carrying prominent 'Duster' lettering, slim LED headlights with distinctive eyebrow-shaped daytime running lights, and pixel-style fog lamps.
Black cladding around the wheel arches and lower body, along with 18-inch alloy wheels, adds to the adventurous look. It gets C-pillar mounted rear door handles.
At the rear, triangular LED taillights connected by a light bar and a sculpted bumper complete the tough stance.
Key dimensions include a length of 4,343 mm, width of 1,813 mm, height of 1,659 mm and wheelbase of 2,657 mm. Ground clearance stands at an impressive 212 mm, with approach and departure angles of 26.9 degrees and 34.7 degrees, respectively.
The boot offers 518 litres of space up to the parcel shelf or 700 litres when loaded to the roof.

Renault Duster 2026 Interior and Features

The Duster's cabin feels far more upmarket than before.
A new dashboard layout houses dual digital screens - a 10.1-inch touchscreen running the OpenR Link system with Google built-in (wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, voice commands, navigation, and access to apps like Google Play and Amazon Music) and a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster.
Comfort and convenience highlights include a panoramic sunroof, six-way powered and ventilated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control with a PM2.5 filter, wireless smartphone charging, 48-colour ambient lighting, a powered tailgate, and three selectable drive modes (Eco, Comfort and Perso).
The elevated centre console with an e-shifter, connected-car features via the My Renault app (remote lock/unlock, preconditioning and more), and over-the-air updates round off the experience.
Renault Duster 2026 Engine Specifications

Renault has confirmed three powertrains for the new Duster.
The entry-level 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine produces 98 bhp and 160 Nm of torque, paired only with a six-speed manual gearbox.
A stronger 1.3-litre turbo-petrol unit delivers 160 bhp and 280 Nm, mated to either a six-speed manual or a six-speed DCT.
The 1.8-litre strong-hybrid (E-Tech) system, with a 1.4 kWh battery, offers a combined output of 158 bhp and 172 Nm. It will come exclusively with an automatic gearbox and promises strong efficiency, with up to 80 per cent electric driving possible in certain conditions.
The hybrid variant is expected to reach showrooms around Diwali 2026.
No diesel or four-wheel-drive options are planned as of now.
Renault Duster 2026 Safety Features

The Duster will offer six airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, hill-hold, ISOFIX child seat mounts, parking sensors, and disc brakes on all four wheels as standard across all variants.
Higher trims may add Level 2 ADAS tech, a 360-degree 3D camera, and an electronic parking brake with auto hold.

Official prices will be revealed tomorrow, but expect the new Duster to start around Rs 10.00 lakh for the base 1.0-litre manual variant and go up to Rs 20 lakh for the fully loaded 1.3-litre turbo petrol automatic.
