Nissan has officially outlined an aggressive revival strategy for India and global markets, confirming multiple new model launches by 2026 as part of its long term resurgence plan. The announcement was reinforced by Nissan Motor India Managing Director Saurabh Vatsa, along with global leadership backing the brand’s renewed focus on growth, exports and partnerships.
At the centre of Nissan’s India push is an all new B segment MPV, scheduled for launch in early 2026. The company has now revealed that the MPV will be called Nissan Gravite. It is expected to make its official debut in the last quarter of the current financial year, with a January unveiling ahead of its market launch. Positioned as a practical and spacious family vehicle, the Gravite will target buyers looking for an affordable yet modern seven seater with strong value credentials.
The Gravite marks the first step in Nissan’s four product launch roadmap. Following this, Nissan has confirmed the arrival of the Nissan Tekton in 2026. This new C segment SUV will sit above the Magnite and is aimed at the heart of the midsize SUV market, one of the fastest growing segments in India. The Tekton will play a key role in Nissan’s volume and brand building strategy.
Looking further ahead, Nissan has also confirmed plans for a seven seater C segment SUV, scheduled for 2027. This model will cater to larger families and buyers seeking more space and road presence, expanding Nissan’s footprint in the higher capacity SUV category.
With the Nissan Gravite MPV, Tekton SUV and a larger seven seater SUV lined up, Nissan’s upcoming product wave signals a clear intent to re establish the brand as a serious player in India while supporting its broader global resurgence.
