Skoda Kylaq Classic+ Explained
The newly introduced Classic+ variant bridges the gap between the base Classic and the Signature trim. Unlike the entry-level model, it is offered with both manual and automatic gearbox options, making the Kylaq automatic more accessible.
Key Features Added Over Classic
- 16-inch alloy wheels
- Electric sunroof
- Auto-dimming inside rear-view mirror
- Rain-sensing automatic wipers
- Cruise control
- Steering-mounted controls
The Classic+ is priced Rs 66,000 above the Classic MT, while the automatic version undercuts the earlier entry price for a Kylaq AT.
Signature and Signature+ Get Feature Boost
Skoda has enhanced the Signature and Signature+ trims by adding features previously limited to the top-spec variants. These updates focus on improving daily usability and comfort.
New Additions
- Electric sunroof
- Rear wiper and washer
- Rain-sensing automatic wipers
- Paddle shifters on automatic variants
Sportline and Prestige+ Variants
The upcoming Sportline variant will focus on sportier visual appeal with cosmetic updates inside and out. No mechanical changes are expected, and it will continue with the same turbo-petrol powertrain.
The Prestige+ becomes the new range-topper. To create a clear distinction, Skoda has repositioned features between Prestige and Prestige+. The standard Prestige now costs less than before, while Prestige+ offers the most comprehensive feature set in the Kylaq lineup.
What This Update Means for Buyers
The expanded Kylaq range gives buyers more flexibility across price points, especially with the addition of a more affordable automatic option and a fully loaded top variant. With feature-rich mid trims and a sporty version on the way, the Kylaq is now better positioned in the highly competitive compact SUV segment.
Skodahas been on a roll lately after witnessing a turnaround in 2025 with sales peeking all-time high. It also recently launched a Kushaq refresh with Slavia due soon
