Maserati has begun its shift toward electrification with three new launches in India. The Grecale Folgore brings electric performance to the SUV segment, while the GranTurismo Folgore and GranCabrio Folgore deliver thrilling coupe and convertible experiences. Below, we explore the key specs, features, and pricing for these cars.
Maserati Grecale Folgore

The Maserati Grecale Folgore stands out as the brand's first fully electric SUV, offering a balance of practicality and sporty drive. It uses a 105 kWh battery to power one motor on each axle, creating all-wheel drive with 550 horsepower and 820 Nm of torque. This powertrain enables a 0-100 km/h sprint in 4.1 seconds and a top speed of 220 km/h, while providing a WLTP range of 501 km on a single charge.
The SUV weighs 2,480 kg and supports charging via 22 kW AC or 150 kW DC fast chargers. Key features include a triple-screen dashboard with 12.3-inch driver and central displays plus an 8.8-inch climate control panel, a 1,285-watt Sonus Faber audio system with 21 speakers, panoramic sunroof, and heated steering wheel. Exterior highlights feature a low-set grille, bronze brake callipers, and multiple wheel designs.
In India, the Grecale Folgore has been priced at ₹1.89 crore ex-showroom.
Maserati GranTurismo Folgore and GranCabrio Folgore

The Maserati GranTurismo Folgore and GranCabrio Folgore share a core electric powertrain that redefines grand touring with exceptional performance and luxury. Both models feature a 92.5 kWh battery (83 kWh usable) paired with three permanent-magnet motors, one at the front and two at the rear for all-wheel drive, delivering 761 PS and 1,350 Nm of torque. This setup propels them from 0-100 km/h in 2.7 seconds and reaches a top speed over 320 km/h, with a WLTP range of about 450 km.
The 800-volt architecture enables DC fast charging up to 270 kW, with 20-80% charge taking just 18 minutes. At around 2,260 kg for the coupe and 2,300 kg for the convertible, they offer dynamic handling with torque vectoring that simulates a limited-slip differential.
Interior highlights include a 12.3-inch Google-powered infotainment screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an 8.8-inch climate display, optional head-up display, and a 19-speaker Sonus Faber system, plus optional safety aids like blind-spot monitoring. The key differences lie in their body styles - the GranTurismo Folgore is a sleek coupe for enclosed sophistication, while the GranCabrio Folgore adds a folding fabric roof that operates in 14 seconds up to 50 km/h, enhancing open-air driving with integrated motor sounds that echo V8 notes.
Prices for the GranTurismo Folgore and GranCabrio Folgore start at ₹3.05 and ₹3.18 crore ex-showroom, respectively.
