The Maruti Suzuki Fronx has crossed 2 lakh export units in under 38 months, making it the fastest SUV from India to reach this milestone, according to SIAM data. Exports of the Fronx commenced in June 2023, with production for both domestic and export markets handled at Maruti Suzuki's Hansalpur facility in Gujarat.
What stands out more than the milestone itself is the pace at which it was reached. The Fronx crossed its first 1 lakh export milestone in less than 25 months. It then took only around 13 additional months to add another lakh units.

Where the Fronx Is Exported
The Fronx is currently exported to nearly 90 countries, with Japan being one of its key markets. This also makes it one of the made-in-India Maruti Suzuki vehicles sold in Suzuki's home market.
Since FY2024-25, the Fronx has been India's No. 1 exported passenger vehicle. In Q1 FY2026-27, Maruti Suzuki models occupied all three spots among India's highest-exported passenger vehicles, giving the automaker more than 55 per cent of the country's total PV export share.
Also, according to SIAM data, Maruti Suzuki has remained India's No. 1 passenger vehicle exporter for five consecutive years.
