Engine and Powertrain Updates
Land Rover has added a new 3.0-litre six-cylinder mild-hybrid petrol engine to the Defender lineup. Known as the P380, it produces 380 hp and 550 Nm of torque.
In several international markets, the previous 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine in the P300 variant has been replaced by a new 3.0-litre six-cylinder petrol engine producing 300 hp and 470 Nm. The current India-spec Defender continues to use the older 2.0-litre P300 engine.
Meanwhile, the flagship Defender Octa's BMW-derived 4.4-litre twin-turbo mild-hybrid V8 has been detuned to comply with the latest Euro 6 emissions standards. Power has been reduced from 635 hp to 540 hp, while torque remains unchanged at 750 Nm.
Interior, Features and Safety

Inside, the Defender receives an upgraded cabin featuring an AI-powered "Hey Land Rover" voice assistant along with improved technology.
An optional Technology Pack adds a head-up display, Meridian surround sound system, a camera-based digital interior rear-view mirror, and a domestic power socket. The Defender 110 is also now available with a new six-seat layout, offering greater practicality.
The Defender continues to offer a comprehensive safety package with multiple airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Terrain Response 2, Hill Descent Control, a 360-degree camera, Adaptive Cruise Control, and several advanced driver assistance features.
