Kia India has officially opened pre-bookings for the Sorento alongside a teaser image that reveals the SUV's silhouette, upright stance, and a distinctive amber lighting signature peeking through the cover.
The launch is expected around October 2026, with dealerships reportedly accepting tokens ranging from Rs 25,000 to Rs 50,000. The Sorento will also become Kia India's first hybrid SUV.
What to Expect
The teaser shows a large, boxy silhouette with a tall roofline and a broad, upright front end. The vertically stacked lighting cluster is clearly visible through the cover, with a slim amber DRL running horizontally and a row of LED elements stacked beneath it, a design that reads more premium than anything currently in brand's ICE lineup.
Test mules spotted have also revealed chrome window surrounds and dual-tone 19-inch alloys.
Power is likely to come from a 1.6-litre turbo-petrol strong-hybrid, paired with a 6-speed automatic. Kia is yet to confirm whether FWD or AWD, or both, will be offered in India.
