JSW MG Motor India has made a notable move in growing its new-energy vehicle range by launching the innovative ADAPT (Agile, Dynamic, Advanced Platform Technology) architecture.
The modular platform has been designed to leverage various powertrain technologies, such as electric vehicles (EVs), plug-in hybrids (PHEVs), strong hybrids (HEVs), and range-extender electric vehicles (REEVs), providing the company with enhanced flexibility for its upcoming product range.

The innovative ADAPT architecture has been designed as a versatile vehicle platform that can support various propulsion systems without needing major structural modifications.
This enables JSW MG Motor India to roll out a broader selection of electrified offerings while adapting to evolving customer preferences and market needs.
The company states that the platform has been enhanced for better efficiency, adaptable packaging, cutting-edge electronics, and upcoming software-defined vehicle technologies.
It is anticipated to accommodate multiple body styles across various segments.

In addition to the platform unveiling, JSW MG announced its intention to launch one all-electric vehicle and one plug-in hybrid model by FY2026-27.
Although the company has not officially disclosed the product names, both models will be supported by the new ADAPT architecture.
The announcement indicates MG's aim to bolster its presence in India's swiftly changing new-energy vehicle sector, where consumers are progressively exploring options apart from traditional petrol and diesel vehicles.
