Maruti Suzuki stands as India's undisputed car king, thanks to its massive network of over 6,000 service touchpoints, spanning ARENA and NEXA workshops, Maruti Suzuki Sales and Service Points (MSSSP), rural workshops, Service-on-Wheels, and Bodyshop-on-Wheels.

The 6,000th milestone was reached on July 9, 2026, with a new facility in Kozhikode, Kerala, one that also doubles as an EV service and charging point.

On the service side, FY2025-26 was their busiest year yet, with 502 new touchpoints added, the most in a single fiscal year, and plans around 500 more in FY2026-27.

Best-sellers dominate the charts: the Dzire, Wagon R, Swift, Ertiga, Brezza, and Fronx.

Hyundai has built a strong reputation in India with around 1,500+ service centers offering premium support, quick parts availability, and modern facilities. It appeals to buyers seeking feature-rich, stylish rides with solid build quality. 

The star performer is the Creta, followed by models like Venue, i20, and emerging EVs/hybrids. Hyundai focuses on expanding its SUV and electrified lineup while enhancing after-sales through widespread authorized centers and digital booking tools for hassle-free ownership.

Tata Motors has transformed into a major player with a growing network of authorized service workshops (hundreds across India, emphasizing EV support). Known for rugged, safe vehicles packed with modern features, its best-sellers include the Nexon, Punch, and newer additions like the Sierra. 

Their service network has been facing a lot of complaints from consumers, but Tata has promised to address this. It has also received around 100,000 orders for its new bestseller, the Sierra, further highlighting the importance of a strong service network.

Tata pushes hard on electrification and SUVs, planning more service expansion for EVs, ensuring reliable after-sales as volumes rise in competitive segments.

Mahindra & Mahindra

Toyota enjoys a loyal fanbase in India for legendary reliability, strong resale, and efficient hybrids. Its service network (hundreds of centers) prioritizes quality and long-term care. Best-sellers include the Innova Crysta/Hycross, Fortuner, and Urban Cruiser Hyryder/Grand Vitara. 

Toyota plans steady network growth, emphasizing hybrid tech and customer satisfaction to maintain its premium, dependable image in a fast-evolving market.
