Boman Irani Brings Home a Mahindra XEV 9S - Here’s Everything You Need to Know About This EV SUV

Bollywood actor Boman Irani has added the Mahindra XEV 9S to his car collection.
The popular star, known for his roles in films like Munna Bhai MBBS and 3 Idiots, recently took delivery of this electric SUV in the striking Desert Myst colour.

Mahindra XEV 9S Exterior Design

The Mahindra XEV 9S sports a bold and authentic SUV design with modern electric touches.
It measures around 4.7 metres long and offers a spacious three-row layout for seven passengers. Built on the INGLO platform, it gives a commanding road presence with clean lines and a futuristic feel.

Mahindra XEV 9S Key Features
The XEV 9S is a feature-loaded electric SUV that focuses on comfort and technology.
It comes with a triple 12.3-inch screen setup for the driver, infotainment and front passenger. Other highlights include a panoramic sunroof, advanced Level 2+ ADAS for better safety, premium interiors and superfast charging support.
The cabin is designed for quiet and smooth drives, making long family trips easy and enjoyable.
Mahindra XEV 9S Battery, Range and Performance Specs
This electric SUV offers three battery pack choices of 59 kWh, 70 kWh and 79 kWh.
The top 79 kWh version gives a claimed ARAI range of up to 679 km on a single charge. It delivers up to 282 bhp of power and 380 Nm of torque for quick acceleration.
Fast charging allows 20 to 80 per cent in just 20 minutes with a suitable DC charger, and all variants support easy home and public charging.
Mahindra XEV 9S Price
The Mahindra XEV 9S is offered in six variants, priced from Rs 19.95 lakh to Rs 29.45 lakh (without the charger) ex-showroom, depending on the battery pack chosen.
Boman Irani has gone for the top-spec Pack Three Above 79kWh trim, which costs Rs 30.20 lakh with the 11.2 kW home charger.

Apart from the new Mahindra XEV 9S, the actor also owns a Mercedes-Benz GLE 300d SUV, which he bought in 2023, and a 2017 Jaguar XF sedan.
