It is available in a single Premium (O) 7 variant with either a 1.5-litre petrol or diesel engine, both paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox. Claimed fuel efficiency ranges from around 15-16 kmpl for the petrol and up to 17.5 kmpl for the diesel.
Standard features include six airbags, ESC, rear parking sensors, ISOFIX child seat mounts, and other practical family-oriented equipment.

This variant is for the buyer needing a 7-seat MPV under roughly ₹13 lakh without compromising structural safety, space, or real-world tech.
It packs an unparalleled safety suite for this price: 6 airbags, ESC, all-wheel discs, and TPMS. Inside, you get an 8-inch wireless touchscreen, a digital cluster, and adult-friendly third-row space with effortless one-touch electric tumble access.
However, compromises include missing alloys, a sunroof, and auto AC (the manual AC struggles fully loaded in summer).

The Kia Carens comes with a standard manufacturer's warranty of 3 years or unlimited kilometres, whichever is earlier. This is transferable to subsequent owners for the remaining period.
