Revolt Motors, was founded in 2019 by Rahul Sharma with the goal of creating smart, AI-enabled electric motorcycles. It quickly became known for pioneering features like artificial exhaust sounds and swappable batteries, alongside smartphone connectivity. In January 2023, Revolt Motors was fully acquired by RattanIndia Enterprises.

Revolt's primary offering is the Revolt RV400, an electric street bike positioned against 125cc petrol motorcycles. It features a 3.24 kWh lithium-ion battery and a 3 kW motor, providing a claimed range of up to 150 km and a top speed of 85 km/h. Key features include multiple riding modes, regenerative braking, and digital connectivity. The RV400 typically falls within the ₹1.25 - ₹1.40 Lakh (ex-showroom) price range. While the RV300 was also available initially, it's largely been phased out.

The RV400 primarily rivals other electric motorcycles like the Oben Rorr and offerings from Komaki. It also indirectly competes with popular electric scooters such as the Ola S1 Pro and Ather 450X, given their similar target audience and price points. Revolt's focus on a true electric motorcycle experience with connected features remains its core appeal.
