Honda CB500 Launched At Rs 2.75 Lakh, Full Price List Revealed

Honda has officially launched the CB500, with prices starting at Rs 2.75 lakh ex-showroom. Bookings are now open through Honda BigWing dealerships.
Honda CB500 Price and Variants
The CB500 comes in three variants. The differences between them are mostly wheel type and graphics. The Alloy variant is expected to begin deliveries in Q3 of FY2026-27, with the Spoke variants following in Q4.

The Spoke With Stripes costs Rs 2,000 more than the standard Spoke variant.

CB500 Design
The CB500 shares a design language with the CB350, though it reads larger and slightly more mature on road. It gets a round LED headlamp, a large teardrop fuel tank, brushed aluminium engine finish, a chunky exhaust, and a single-piece seat.
Five colour options are available, including Pearl Igneous Black, Rebel Red Metallic, Mat Steel Silver Metallic, Pearl Deep Ground Gray, and Pearl Igneous Black With Stripes.
CB500 Features and Equipment
The CB500 gets Honda RoadSync smartphone connectivity, a semi-digital instrument cluster, Honda Selectable Torque Control, a slipper clutch, dual-channel ABS, and all-LED lighting. The suspension is a conventional telescopic fork up front with twin rear shock absorbers.
It rides on a 19-inch front and 18-inch rear wheel setup, with disc brakes at both ends.

CB500 Engine
The CB500 uses an all-new 501cc single-cylinder, air-oil cooled engine producing 28.1 PS and 43.3 Nm, paired with a five-speed gearbox. Honda has not disclosed the complete spec sheet yet, but delivery timelines are staggered.
CB500 Rivals
Honda has positioned the CB500 against the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and the BSA Gold Star 650. Both rivals use parallel-twin engines and make more power. But the CB500 arrives at a considerably lower starting price than either, which is the real conversation.
It is also worth noting that the CB500 is the only 500cc single-cylinder motorcycle currently on sale in India since the Royal Enfield Classic 500 was discontinued in 2020. That is not a small gap to fill.
