All-New Bajaj Pulsar 125 Launched at Rs 92,990 with New Engine, Underpinnings, and Added Features

Bajaj Auto has launched the all-new Pulsar 125 in India, starting at Rs 92,990 (ex-showroom).

This is the first major overhaul for the popular 125cc Pulsar, bringing a fresh design, a new engine, an updated chassis, a monoshock suspension and a longer list of features while keeping the familiar sporty Pulsar character.

Here's a detailed look at everything that Bajaj has improved on its entry-level Pulsar offering.

Design Changes

The new Pulsar 125 gets a sharper, more modern look.

The front features a redesigned LED headlight with distinctive DRLs. The fuel tank, side panels and LED tail-light have also been updated for a cleaner, sportier appearance, and the engine covers now come in a gloss-black finish.

It comes with single-seat and split-seat versions, with the latter getting a sportier grab-rail setup.

Colour options include Dark Silver, Ebony Black Cyan Blue, Ebony Black Magenta Red, Fury Red and Saffire Blue.

New Engine With Higher Power Figures

Bajaj has introduced a completely new 125cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine on this bike.

Paired to a 5-speed gearbox, it produces 12.1 PS at 8,500 rpm and 11.4 Nm at 6,500 rpm. That is 0.3 PS and 0.6 Nm more than the previous model’s 11.8 PS and 10.8 Nm figures.

Improved Underpinnings

The chassis has been revised with a new single-cradle tubular frame in place of the older dual-cradle design.

Front suspension remains a conventional telescopic fork. At the rear, twin shocks make way for a preload-adjustable monoshock for a more planted feel and better handling.

The bike rides on 17-inch alloy wheels at both ends. Braking duties are handled by a 260 mm front disc and 130 mm rear drum with Combined Braking System (CBS). Unfortunately, it misses out on even a single channel ABS.

New Features

Higher variants get a 5-inch TFT console (shared with the Pulsar N160 SS/S) that offers smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, call/SMS alerts, music controls, Google Maps mirroring and document storage.

Base variants get a new LCD instrument cluster with connectivity features. Other additions include all-LED lighting, a USB Type-C charging port, hazard lights, silent starter and switchable idle start/stop.

Three riding modes (Road, Rain and Sport) are also available.

Availability and Competition

The 2026 Bajaj Pulsar 125 is now available at dealerships across India. It now sits more comfortably against rivals such as the TVS Raider 125, Hero Glamour X 125 and Honda SP 125.
