The Kia Syros FFV is a flex-fuel concept based on the existing Syros, revealed as Kia's first flex-fuel vehicle in India. It is capable of running on pure petrol, pure ethanol (E100), and any ethanol-petrol blend in between, including the E20 that is now the nationwide standard, without any input from the driver.

Under the bonnet sits a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder, direct-injection turbo-petrol engine. To handle the range of fuel blends, Kia has modified the ECU, TCU, and fuel system. Power outputs have not been disclosed. Notably, the gearbox changes from the standard Syros turbo-petrol's 7-speed DCT to a 6-speed torque converter automatic in this FFV concept.

On the outside, the Syros FFV looks identical to the regular model, the same boxy tall-boy silhouette, ice-cube LED headlamps with DRLs, 17-inch dual-tone alloys, roof rails, and L-shaped LED tail lamp signatures. There are no visible exterior changes that flag it as a flex-fuel vehicle.

The interior is equally unchanged, the familiar triple-screen dashboard covering the instrument cluster, infotainment, and HVAC controls carries over, along with the physical button cluster, wireless charger, and the same gear lever and storage layout as the standard Syros.

Kia has not confirmed when or whether a production version will launch in India.
