Hyundai confirmed at its Investor Day that Genesis, its luxury arm, will enter India in 2027 with locally assembled models, and the GV80 SUV is widely expected to be one of the first models to debut.
Genesis has already trademarked the GV80 coupe-SUV's design in India, hinting that both the standard SUV and coupe body styles could arrive together.
Globally, the GV80 comes with a 304hp 2.5-litre turbo-petrol engine and a 380hp 3.5-litre unit, while the coupe adds a 415hp mild-hybrid option, though India's exact line-up remains rumoured.
