Hyundai Motor Group has officially confirmed that its luxury division, Genesis, will make its debut in the Indian market in 2027. This move is part of a larger strategy to capture the growing premium car segment in the country. The Genesis GV70 will be a crucial product in this lineup, sitting below the larger GV80 SUV. Unlike many luxury brands that start with expensive imports, reports suggest that Genesis plans to manufacture and assemble its cars locally at Hyundai’s facility near Chennai.
