Ferrari Amalfi Latest Updates

March 12, the Ferrari Amalfi Spider made its world debut on 12 March 2026. It features a folding fabric soft-top roof (unlike the hard-top on some other Ferrari Spiders) and is expected to use the same 3.9-litre twin-turbo V8 engine as the coupe.

Deliveries of the coupe in India are scheduled to begin in 2027, with bookings already open at Ferrari dealerships.

The Ferrari Amalfi arrives as the successor to the Roma, carrying forward the front-mid-engined 2+2 grand touring formula while introducing a more assertive personality. Named after the scenic Amalfi Coast in Italy

At its core sits the latest evolution of Ferrari’s award-winning 3.9-litre twin-turbocharged V8 from the F154 family producing 631 hp and 760 Nm of torque, thanks to an advanced engine control unit, improved turbo management, and new pressure sensors. Power reaches the rear wheels through an 8-speed dual-clutch F1 transmission, enabling a 0-100 km/h sprint in 3.3 seconds and a top speed of 320 km/h.

The exterior adopts a new monolithic design with largely new body panels, giving the car a lower and wider stance. Inside, the cabin features a driver-focused layout with physical steering wheel controls, a 15.6-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10.25-inch central touchscreen, and an 8.8-inch passenger display.

Additionally, with a dry weight of 1,470 kg and a 2+2 seating layout, the Amalfi combines Ferrari performance with grand touring practicality.

Engine and Performance

The Amalfi is powered by a 3.9-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine featuring a wet-sump lubrication system. It includes a bore and stroke of 86.5 x 82 mm, a 9.4:1 compression ratio, and a flat-plane crankshaft designed for high-rpm performance.

The engine produces a maximum output of 631 hp at 7,500 rpm, with a peak torque of 760 Nm between 3,000 and 5,750 rpm. It revs up to 7,600 rpm and achieves a specific power output of 164 hp per litre. This power is delivered to the rear wheels through an 8-speed dual-clutch F1 automatic transmission.

The Amalfi has a WLTP-certified combined fuel consumption of 11.2 litres per 100 km. According to the WLTP test cycle, it returns 19.7 l/100 km at low speeds, improving to 10.7 l/100 km in the medium cycle and reaching its most efficient 9.2 l/100 km during high-speed driving. For extra-high speed conditions, the figure sits at 10.0 l/100 km.

On the environmental side, the car is rated at 254 g/km of CO2 emissions under the same WLTP protocol. It is also important to note that because the model has not yet been homologated for the Indian market, official ARAI fuel efficiency figures are currently unavailable.

The cabin of the Ferrari Amalfi emphasises driver engagement with premium materials including supple leather and Alcantara. It features a modern yet intuitive layout with a 15.6-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10.25-inch central touchscreen, and a dedicated 8.8-inch display for the front passenger. Additionally, an optional Burmester premium audio system delivers immersive sound.

Physical buttons have returned to the steering wheel, including a prominent red engine start/stop button, for quicker interaction. The 2+2 seating configuration offers comfortable front seats with generous support, while the rear seats add versatility for occasional passengers or extra luggage. Storage spaces and practical cubbies enhance everyday usability. 

Lastly, the boot provides 273 litres of capacity, making it suitable for weekend getaways.

The Ferrari Amalfi showcases a sleek, monolithic speedform that creates a strong, dynamic silhouette. From the front, it presents a clean, aggressive face with slim LED headlights and a sculpted bonnet that hints at the powerful V8 beneath.

Along the side, the car reveals elegant proportions with a long wheelbase, flowing roofline, and muscular haunches. Subtle aerodynamic elements and flush door handles contribute to its refined yet sporty stance. It rides on 20-inch wheels, 245/35 R20 at the front and wider 285/35 R20 at the rear, wrapped around performance tyres.

Meanwhile at the rear, the design features a taut tail with integrated LED taillights and an active aerodynamic rear wing that deploys to generate significant downforce when required. The overall proportions (4,660 mm long, 1,974 mm wide, 1,301 mm high) give the Amalfi a low, planted appearance.

The Amalfi comes equipped with a rigid body structure engineered for occupant protection, supported by an array of multiple airbags, ABS with EBD, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), traction control, and Ferrari’s 6D sensor platform for precise dynamics management.

The DB12 offers a more luxurious cabin feel and a smoother V8 powertrain with strong low-end torque delivery. The Amalfi holds its own with quicker 0-100 km/h acceleration (3.3 seconds vs DB12’s 3.6 seconds), and a more driver-focused cockpit layout with physical steering wheel controls.
