Quick Read - Volkswagen has removed the Tiguan R-Line from its India website, where it was last priced at Rs 47.11 lakh, without an official delisting announcement.
Volkswagen has delisted the Tiguan R-Line from its India website, indicating that the premium SUV may no longer be available in the country. Launched in April 2025 as a completely built unit (CBU) import, the model was last listed at Rs 47.11 lakh, ex-showroom.
The Volkswagen's SUV portfolio in India is now centred around the Taigun and Tayron.
Tayron Offers a More Practical Alternative

The Volkswagen Tayron has become the brand's primary offering in the premium SUV segment. Unlike the Tiguan R-Line, which was exclusively a 5-seater, the Tayron is available in both 5 and 7-seat configurations.
The recently introduced Tayron Life provides a more affordable entry point at Rs 41.99 lakh, ex-showroom, while the 7-seat Tayron R-Line is priced at Rs 47.74 lakh.
