VinFast has officially launched its first electric MPV in India - the VF MPV 7, at Rs 24.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
This marks the Vietnamese automaker’s third electric model in the country after the VF 6 and VF 7 SUVs.
The VF MPV 7 is assembled locally at VinFast’s Tamil Nadu plant.

Vinfast VF MPV 7 Design and Dimensions
The VF MPV 7 features a modern and clean design with slim LED headlights, the carmaker's signature V-motion grille, connected LED taillights, and 19-inch aero-optimised alloy wheels.
It measures 4,740 mm in length, 1,872 mm in width, and 1,734 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,840 mm.
These dimensions promise a spacious and comfortable cabin for seven passengers in a 2+3+2 layout. Boot capacity ranges from 126 litres up to 1,240 litres, depending on the number of seats in use.

The cabin includes a large 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, which also acts as the driver information display and includes the climate control settings.
It gets synthetic leather upholstery in two options - all-black or dual-tone black and brown.
It also gets electrically adjustable ORVMs, keyless entry, and push-button start. Multiple USB ports add further convenience.
On the safety front, the VF MPV 7 offers four airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, hill start assist, roll over mitigation, disc brakes on all wheels, and more.
Vinfast VF MPV 7 Battery, Range and Performance
The VF MPV 7 is powered by a 60.13 kWh battery pack paired with a front-wheel-drive electric motor. This setup produces 204 hp and 280 Nm of torque.
This battery pack offers an ARAI claimed range of 517 km on a single charge, and supports 80 kW DC fast charging, which can take the battery from 10 to 80 per cent in around 30 minutes.
The MPV 7 offers three driving modes - Eco, Normal, and Sport. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in under 10 seconds.

Vinfast VF MPV 7 Ownership Benefits
VinFast has announced several attractive ownership schemes to make the VF MPV 7 more appealing.
Buyers switching from an ICE vehicle to this EV can avail a special incentive of up to Rs 2 lakh. The company is offering a long 10-year vehicle warranty, a 75 per cent buyback guarantee on the ex-showroom price after a certain period, and free charging support until March 2029.
VinFast also plans to expand its network to 75 touchpoints by the end of 2026.
Vinfast VF MPV 7 Rivals
The VF MPV 7 is positioned to compete with the Kia Carens Clavis EV and the BYD eMax 7 in the premium electric MPV segment.
It will also be available for fleet operators under the Limo Green name.
