Kia Carens Clavis EV

The Kia Carens Clavis EV is an all-electric version of the popular Carens Clavis , designed to offer practicality, comfort, and advanced technology. The Carens Clavis EV will be one of the first mainstream 7-seater electric vehicles in its class, expected to offer a MIDC-certified range of up to 490 km with its larger 51.4 kWh battery.

Just like Creta electric a smaller 42 kWh option will also be available, with power output going up to 171 PS on the higher variant. It will support 50kW DC fast charging, allowing 10-80% charge in under an hour.
Inside, the EV features a tech-rich, dual-screen layout with a digital instrument cluster and touchscreen infotainment system. Premium additions include a panoramic sunroof, floating-style centre console, front ventilated seats, a smart air purifier, and an 8-speaker BOSE system.
The exterior blends familiar Carens Clavis styling with EV-specific updates like aero wheels, a front-mounted charging port, connected LED DRLs, and sleek LED tail lamps. Safety tech includes 6 airbags, ESC, all-wheel disc brakes, and a Level 2 ADAS suite with around 20 autonomous features. Pricing is expected to start at Rs 15-16 lakh and is set to launch on July 15.
MG M9 (aka Maxus MIFA 9)

MG is all set to complement Windsor with its first luxury electric MPV in India, the MG M9, based on the Maxus MIFA 9. Bookings are already open via MG Select for Rs 51,000, with prices expected to start around Rs 65 lakh (ex-showroom). Designed to offer a high-end experience for both driver and passengers, the MG M9 brings luxury, performance, and technology together in a full-size electric MPV.

The M9 is powered by a front-mounted 245 hp, 350 Nm motor paired with a 90 kWh NMC battery. MG claims an impressive 548 km range on a single charge. Fast charging with a 160 kW DC charger takes about 90 minutes, while a standard 11 kW AC charger needs around 10 hours.
Inside, the M9 is ultra-premium, featuring a 12.23-inch touchscreen, a 7-inch driver’s display, a JBL sound system, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, and massage-enabled captain seats with fold-out ottomans in the second row. The interior is finished in cognac brown leather and suede, with features like ambient lighting, a panoramic sunroof, and rear touchscreens for added comfort.
The M9 also packs Level 2 ADAS, 7 airbags, a 360-degree camera, and V2L/V2V charging compatibility. With its bold exterior design, sliding doors, and up to 945 litres of boot space, the MG M9 is set to launch on July 30, 2025.
Mahindra BE 07

Part of Mahindra’s new electric ‘BE’ lineup, the BE 07 is an upcoming all-electric SUV that’s expected to launch in India by August 15, 2025. It will be a mid-size offering, comparable in size to the Tata Harrier, and will be based on Mahindra’s all-new INGLO platform, developed using key components from Volkswagen’s MEB architecture, including motors and battery systems.
Expected to be priced between Rs 25 lakh and Rs 30 lakh (ex-showroom), the BE 07 will likely be offered in at least two variants with different battery capacities, drivetrain layouts, and equipment levels. It will support 60 kWh and 80 kWh battery packs, with the larger one offering a WLTP-claimed range of up to 450 km. Fast charging at up to 175 kW will enable a 10-80% charge in about 30 minutes.
Design-wise, the BE 07 will sport a coupe-like silhouette with a blanked-off grille, C-shaped LED lighting, flush door surfaces, and roof rails. Inside, expect a triple-display dashboard, panoramic sunroof, heads-up display, OTA-connected features, and a full ADAS suite.
Once launched, the BE 07 will rival models like the BYD Atto 3, Tata Harrier EV, Mahindra XUV.e9, and the BYD eMAX 7.
Maruti e Vitara
Expected Price: Rs 17 - Rs 22.5 Lakh

The Maruti e Vitara will be the brand’s first all-electric SUV in India based on it petrol powered cousin. Now expected to launch by September 2025 due to delays in sourcing rare earth materials. Despite the delay, some dealerships have already started unofficial bookings. Positioned as a major step in Maruti Suzuki’s EV journey, the e Vitara aims to offer several modern features and electric efficiency.

It will be offered with two battery options, 49 kWh and 61 kWh, paired with a single electric motor. Maruti claims a range of up to 500 km per charge. Fast charging support will also be included. Three variants, Delta, Zeta, and Alpha, are expected, with the top variants getting the larger battery and full feature list.
On the inside, the e Vitara will offer a large touchscreen, digital instrument cluster, ventilated front seats, ambient lighting, and a glass roof. Safety will be top-notch with 6-8 airbags, a 360-degree camera, Level 2 ADAS, ABS with EBD, ESP, and traction control.
The SUV will come in 10 colour options, including stylish dual-tone shades. With its modern design and feature-loaded package, the e Vitara will rival upcoming EVs in the compact to mid-size SUV segment.
VinFast VF6
Expected Price: Rs 20 - Rs 25 Lakh

Vietnamese brand VinFast is entering the Indian EV space with the VF6, expected to launch in India later this year. Priced around Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom) for the fully loaded VF6 Plus variant, it will follow the launch of the larger VF 7 and take on rivals like the Mahindra BE 6, Hyundai Creta EV, and Maruti e Vitara.
The VF 6 stands out with its coupe-inspired styling, signature V-motif grille, sleek LED headlamps, and muscular haunches. It measures 4.3 metres in length, with a 2.7-metre wheelbase, well-suited to the midsize SUV category. The SUV rides on 18-inch alloy wheels and will be available in four colours: Brahimny White, Crimson Red, Neptune Grey, and Jet Black.

Powering the VF 6 is a 204 hp front-mounted electric motor producing 310 Nm, paired with a 59.6 kWh battery pack. It offers an estimated range of 381–399 km per charge. The cabin features a premium minimalist layout with a 12.9-inch central touchscreen, OTA updates, ambient lighting, and vegan leather upholstery.
Safety is robust with Level 2 ADAS, 7 airbags, 360-degree camera, electronic parking brake, and auto headlamps and wipers, making the VF6 a strong contender in India’s growing EV space.
