Exterior Design

The 2026 Tiago gets a thoroughly revised exterior design with a cleaner and more upright appearance. Up front, the hatchback features sharper headlamps, a slimmer grille positioned higher on the fascia and a redesigned bumper with a larger air dam. Tata says the updated front-end styling gives the Tiago a stronger road presence.
From the side, the hatchback now gets new 15-inch alloy wheel designs along with black wheel arch cladding. The rear section receives some of the biggest updates, including connected LED tail lamps, a cleaner bumper design and a subtler roof spoiler.
The Tiago continues to focus on practicality with 170 mm ground clearance, an 18-degree approach angle, 19-degree ramp-over angle and a 28-degree departure angle. Tata says the hatchback is based on its Alpha architecture and now uses a newer electrical architecture as well.
Colour options include Daytona Grey, Pangong Pulse, Pristine White, Pure Grey, SoBo Surge and Varanasi Vibrance.
Interior And Features

The cabin has been heavily redesigned with a flatter and more modern dashboard layout. Compared to the outgoing model’s flowing dashboard design, the new Tiago gets a cleaner horizontal layout along with revised centre console elements and an updated two-spoke steering wheel. AMT variants also receive a new rotary gear selector.
The Tiago now comes with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system along with a digital driver’s display. Tata has also added dual wireless smartphone chargers, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, connected car technology, rear AC vents, cruise control, a cooled glovebox and a 4-speaker audio system.

Tata says the cabin has also been designed for better comfort with extended seat support and thicker dual-path struts aimed at improving ride quality.
Safety And Structure

Safety continues to remain one of the biggest highlights of the Tiago facelift. The hatchback now gets six airbags as standard along with ESC, traction control, ABS with EBD, parking sensors, ISOFIX child seat mounts and a 360-degree camera.
Tata says the body structure uses multiple crumple zones and high-strength steel for improved crash protection. During the showcase, Tata also demonstrated the strength of the Tiago iCNG by crashing the vehicle into a rigid pole. The company highlighted that the hazard lamps continued functioning after the impact while the CNG kit remained intact.
Engine And Gearbox Options

The 2026 Tiago continues with the same 1.2-litre three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine. In petrol form, the engine produces 86 hp, while the CNG version develops 75.5 hp.
Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT gearbox for both petrol and CNG versions. Tata has also introduced segment-first paddle shifters on the Tiago iCNG AMT.
The CNG model additionally gets Tata’s twin-cylinder technology and supports direct start in CNG mode for improved convenience
