Just days after it was spotted testing camouflaged, Tata Motors has officially revealed the facelifted Tata Tiago and Tiago EV, set to launch on May 28.
These refreshed models bring a fresh design with a sharper, more modern styling, and are expected to get feature upgrades to remain competitive in the entry-level hatchback and EV segments.
Tata Tiago and Tiago EV Facelift Design

The new Tiago model showcase a bold new look, featuring slimmer LED headlamps with integrated DRLs, updated bumpers and an overall cleaner design.
The Tiago EV stands out with a fully closed front grille and aero-optimised alloy wheels for a futuristic appeal, while the ICE variant retains a traditional blacked-out grille and rides on standard dual tone diamond cut alloys. Interestingly, while the ICE model gets fog lamps, the EV misses out on them.
Both cars look identical from the rear, with connected LED tail lamps with a smoked finish lending them a wider and more premium stance.
New colour options like Vibrant Coral Orange for the ICE and Light Mint Green have been added.
Other notable exterior changes include chrome door handles and ORVM-mounted cameras hinting at a 360-degree surround view system.

While Tata did not reveal the interior in the teaser, both Tiagos are expected to get an updated dashboard layout, while retaining the existing 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Additional features such as a better digital instrument cluster, rear AC vents, wireless charger, and possibly a sunroof on top variants may be introduced.
In terms of safety, both cars are expected to get safety upgrades, notably six airbags as standard. Tata could be aiming for yet another BNCAP 5-star rating with the hatchbacks.
Tata Tiago and Tiago EV Facelift Powertrains

On the mechanical front, the Tiago ICE is likely to continue with the proven 1.2-litre petrol engine and i-CNG options, both paired with manual or AMT gearboxes.
As for the Tiago EV, Tata could introduce larger battery pack options for higher range and power, like they did with the Punch EV facelift. The outgoing model gets 19.2 kWh and 24 kWh battery packs, offering a claimed range of up to 293 km.

Tata Tiago 2026 Expected Prices
These changes position the Tiago strongly against rivals.
With prices expected to start over ₹5 lakh for the ICE and over ₹8 lakh for the EV (both ex-showroom), the facelifts aim to boost Tata's presence in the affordable hatchback and electric vehicle markets.
Tata is also expected to offer the Tiago EV with a BaaS scheme, significantly bringing down upfront ownership costs.
