Skoda has launched the all-new Kodiaq RS in India at Rs 66.99 lakh, ex-showroom.
The initial 50 units allocated for this CBU performance SUV were sold sold out within six minutes after its bookings started on June 22.
The Kodiaq RS is a sportier and more athletic version of the standard Kodiaq, retaining the same 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine, but retuned for significantly better performance. It produces 265 hp and 400 Nm of torque, up from 200 hp and 320 Nm on the standard Kodiaq.
Mated to a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission, this SUV catapults you from 0-100 km/h in just 6.3 seconds. Flat-out, the Kodiaq RS can reach 231 km/h, making it the fastest-accelerating Skoda to roll out of their factory.

Besides performance upgrades, the Kodiaq RS also gets a long array of styling updates for a sportier and more aggressive poise.
To start with, it receives a gloss black grille surround, a full-width rear reflector, black Skoda lettering, RS badging, exclusive 20-inch Elias alloy wheels, an illuminated front grille with horizontal light strip, black ORVMs, roof rails, and window surrounds, polished stainless steel exhaust finishers, black Skoda lettering and RS badging, and RS exclusive front and rear bumpers.
As for the colours, there are four options to choose from – Magic black, Moon White, Steel Grey and Velvet Red.

Inside, the Kodiaq RS flaunts an all-black interior with red accents. The dashboard comes equipped with a 12.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Other key interior features include the 3-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel, a 10.24-inch digital instrument cluster, heated and ventilated front seats with memory function, automatic climate control, dual wireless charging pads, RS-specific sports seats with integrated headrests, and more.
Carrying a price tag of Rs 66.99 lakh (ex-showroom) in India, the Skoda Kodiaq RS also happens to be the most expensive Skoda in the Indian market.
