Mercedes-Benz has debuted the all-electric CLA in India, marking the return of the CLA nameplate as a fully electric sedan. This model, based on the new Modular Architecture (MMA) platform with 800-volt architecture, serves as the brand's entry-level electric offering.
The exterior boasts a sleek four-door coupe silhouette with twin-pod LED headlights featuring star-shaped DRLs, a connected light bar, and 142 backlit stars in the grille. It rides on 18-inch alloy wheels and offers colours like Polar White, Cosmic Black, Alpine Grey, Clear Blue, and Patagonia Red.
The AMG Line styling package is standard.

The India-spec CLA Electric comes in the CLA 250+ variant, featuring a rear-mounted electric motor that delivers 272 hp (or around 268-272 hp across sources) and accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 6.7 seconds. It uses an 85 kWh battery pack, claiming a WLTP range of up to 792 km.
The efficient drivetrain achieves 93% efficiency, aided by a low drag coefficient of 0.21 and aerodynamic design elements like flush door handles and a sealed front grille.
