Tata Sierra EV

Following the launch of its ICE models in 2025, the Tata Sierra is set to launch in an EV avatar this year with a similar retro-modern design with EV-specific design tweaks.
It could feature the Harrier EV’s smaller, 65 kWh battery, delivering over 200 bhp and around 420-500 km range. It will have a rear-wheel drivetrain, with AWD likely on top variants.
Standout features may include a panoramic glass roof, spacious cabin, advanced infotainment, and rugged capability.
Expected ex-showroom price ranges from ₹18 lakh to ₹25 lakh.
Highly Expected
Tata Safari EV

Along with the Sierra EV, Tata Motors is also expected to launch the Safari EV this year.
It will likely get the same battery pack options offered in the Harrier EV - a 65 kWh (538 km MIDC range) and a 75 kWh (627 km MIDC range) unit, with dual-motor AWD (390 bhp, 504 Nm) on the bigger battery pack.
Premium features like Level 2 ADAS, a panoramic roof, and a luxurious interior should be borrowed from the Harrier EV.
Prices for the Safari EV could range from ₹22 lakh to ₹31 lakh ex-showroom.
Mahindra BE 07

Mahindra's BE 07 electric SUV, part of its born-electric range based on the INGLO platform, is expected in October 2026.
It could offer 60-80 kWh batteries for over 500 km range and enthusiastic performance like current Mahindra EVs.
Its bold design, premium and feature-packed interior, and advanced safety, including Level 2 ADAS are expected highlights.
Prices could range from ₹20 lakh to ₹30 lakh, slotting right in between the BE 6 and XEV 9e.
Rumoured
MG4 EV

The sporty MG 4 EV hatchback is anticipated to arrive in 2026, bringing European styling to the Indian market.
It may offer battery packs up to 64 kWh, with rear-wheel drive, around 170-200 bhp, and a range of about 350-450 km. It supports fast charging up to 140 kW.
Key features may include dynamic handling, vehicle-to-load charging capability, a minimalist interior, and an advanced safety suite.
Expected ex-showroom price is ₹30 lakh to ₹32 lakh.

It may feature a small battery for around 210-300 km range, suited for city driving with modest power. Its compact design, easy manoeuvrability, and basic features would make it ideal for urban use.
At an expected ₹7 lakh to ₹10 lakh ex-showroom, the VF3 will be a direct rival to the MG Comet.
