Maruti Suzuki looks ready to launch the new, 2026 Brezza. A seemingly production-ready unit has been spotted without any camouflage, likely for an ad shoot.
The Brezza's overall design remains quite similar to the current model, keeping its boxy stance and strong road presence. The most noticeable update is the new dual-tone alloy wheels with a sharper design, as seen previously on test mules.
There are also minor tweaks to the front bumper and side cladding. Brushed silver inserts on the cladding appear to be accessories.
On the inside, expect meaningful upgrades such as a larger touchscreen infotainment system, new upholstery, and possibly features like a 360-degree camera and ADAS.

A big change under the hood is expected, with Maruti finally offering the 1.0-litre Boosterjet turbo petrol engine - something this compact SUV has been missing in its segment. It is likely to be paired with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic.
Crucially, this engine will give the Brezza the sub-4 metre car tax benefits (18% as compared to current 40%) which it has missed since Maruti moved away from diesels.
The current, naturally aspirated 1.5-litre petrol engine could continue to be on offer. An underbody CNG kit is also expected, which should improve boot space and running costs.
The Brezza facelift is likely to launch in the coming weeks.
