Citroen has introduced the revamped eC3 EV, renamed as the eC3X.
Starting at Rs 10.25 lakh (ex-showroom), the 2026 EC3X is Rs 1.74 lakh cheaper than its predecessor. Citroen is also offering a battery-as-a-service (BaaS) option, lowering the upfront cost to Rs 6.29 lakh, with a battery rental charge of Rs 2.26 per kilometer.
The eC3X is available in three variants: Live, Live (O), and Shine.

The new eC3X flaunts sharp LED headlights with split DRLs and sits on 15 inch diamond cut alloy wheels. It also receives LED fog lights and contrast coloured skid plates. It comes in six colour options, including Steel Grey, Perla Nera Black, Deep Forest Green, Garnet Red, Polar White and, Cosmo Blue.

Inside, the EV gets a new white and blue dual tone theme for the dashboard and upholstery. Key features include a 10.25 inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an updated seven inch TFT instrument console, wireless mobile charger, and Citroen connected car technology 2.0.

Powered by a single permanent magnet synchronous electric motor and a 29.2 kWh battery pack, the 2026 Citroen eC3x makes 56 hp and 143 Nm of torque, offering a claimed range upto 320 kilometres on a single charge.
It also comes with DC charging option which charges the battery from 10-80% in just 57 minutes.

On the safety front, the eC3X gets six airbags, ABS with EBD, speed alert system, reverse parking sensors and camera as standard. Citroen is also offering an optional dual dashcam package which includes lane departure warning, front vehicle distance alert and, pedestrian & non motorised vehicle warning system.
The Citroen eC3X primarily rivals the Tata Tiago EV and Punch EV.
