Officially unveiled at the Bharat Mobility Expo in November 2025, the AEROX-E was confirmed for an H1 2026 commercial launch by Yamaha itself. The scooter uses a 9.4 kW mid-mounted BLDC motor producing 48 Nm of torque, powered by two swappable 3 kWh lithium-ion packs. It gets three riding modes   Eco, Standard, and Power   plus a Boost mode for quick overtakes, a TFT display with turn-by-turn navigation, and Yamaha's Y-Connect app integration. Expected price is around Rs 2.90 lakh ex-showroom, putting it against the Ather 450 Apex and TVS X Electric.
