TVS is developing an all-new 160cc liquid-cooled maxi-scooter that is expected to be ready by the end of 2027. Contrary to expectations, the recently revealed Ntorq 150 is based on the existing Ntorq 125 platform and is not TVS’ maxi-scooter project.
The upcoming model will likely be TVS’ first true maxi-scooter and will target the growing premium scooter segment in India. Since it has been confirmed that a liquid-cooled engine will be used, you can expect long hours of cruising without the overheating typically associated with air-cooled units.
You can also expect tyres ranging from 12 to 14 inches, although this is not yet confirmed. Top variants will likely get disc brakes at both ends along with a digital dashboard.
It is expected to rival models such as the Yamaha Aerox 155, Hero Xoom 160, and Aprilia SR 175. Launch is expected to be in 2027 and will likely be E85 compatible
