Triumph is gearing up to introduce a new range of 350cc motorcycles in India next month, with the launch expected in April 2026.
Rajiv Bajaj, Managing Director of Bajaj Auto, confirmed this timeline in a recent interview, marking a key step in the brand's strategy for the Indian market.
The upcoming models will be based on the existing 400cc platform, which powers popular bikes like the Speed 400, Scrambler 400, and Speed T4. These 350cc versions are India-specific and aim to take advantage of recent changes in GST rules.
By reducing engine capacity below 350cc, the bikes will attract a lower 18% GST, as compared to the 400cc models that are taxed at 40%. This will keep prices more competitive.

This move follows Bajaj and Triumph's successful partnership that brought the 400cc range to India in 2023.

The new 350cc lineup is expected to include downsized versions of the Speed and Scrambler models, with possible updates to others like the Speed T4.
While power output may drop slightly from the current 39.5 bhp and 37.5 Nm, the bikes should retain their fun, agile character and premium British styling.
The launch comes at a time when Triumph seeks to strengthen its position against rivals in the mid-capacity segment.
With the 350cc models priced lower than the existing 400cc range, they could appeal to a wider group of buyers looking for more affordable modern classics.
