1. Honda E-Clutch System

Honda E-Clutch System

The new E-Clutch is a game-changer for the NX500.

It lets you start, stop, and change gears without touching the clutch lever, and just by using the gear shift pedal. To put it simply for car enthusiasts - this is a similar concept as the iMT found in several Hyundai and Kia cars.

The E-Clutch works smoothly with the engine’s electronics for quick, jerk-free shifts. You can still take full manual control by using the clutch lever anytime, and it has adjustable feel settings (Soft, Medium, Hard).

This setup is perfect for city traffic or beginners, reducing fatigue on long rides while keeping full control. This tech only adds 3 kgs to the previous weight of the bike, and adds real convenience without taking away the fun of manual riding.

2. Responsive 471cc Parallel-Twin Engine

The NX500 is powered by a lively 471cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine, delivering 47 hp and 43 Nm of torque and making it A2 licence friendly, yet punchy enough for highways and twisty roads.

Its revised mapping improves low-rpm response. Combined with the assisted slipper clutch, it offers enjoyable performance and strong fuel efficiency for a claimed range of around 500 km from its 17.5-litre tank.

3. Strong Dual-Disc Brakes with ABS

Safety gets a boost with dual 296mm front discs and a 240mm rear disc, paired with two-piston callipers, delivering confident and progressive braking even when loaded.

The standard dual-channel ABS prevents wheel lock-up on slippery surfaces. This setup works well with the bike’s weight and suspension, offering precise control whether you ride in rain or on dry highways.

4. Premium Showa Suspension

The 41mm Showa SFF-BP upside-down forks and Pro-Link rear shock provide excellent balance on roads and light trails.

With around 135mm of travel, they absorb bumps well while keeping the bike stable at speed. The setup offers a planted yet comfortable ride, helping riders tackle rough patches or enjoy spirited cornering.

Its lightweight wheels further improve handling, making the NX500 agile in traffic and confident on gravel.

5. Modern TFT Display and Connectivity

Its bright 5-inch full-colour TFT screen provides a clear display even under sunlight. It supports Honda RoadSync for smartphone connectivity, letting you see navigation, take calls, or play music safely.

The backlit switches and simple layout make it easy to use on the move at night.
