Ampere Electric has given the Magnus G Max a major tech update. The scooter gets a larger 5-inch digital display, a fresh 'Cinnamon Copper' shade, and over 30 IoT features via the new NxG.io platform. These upgrades push the price up by ₹15,000 to ₹1,09,999, compared to its original January launch price of ₹94,999.
New NxG.io Connected Suite

The new NxG.io platform brings Cruise Control, Turn-by-Turn Navigation, and Hill Hold assist. "Find My Scooter" and "Ping My Scooter" commands are included as well, all accessible through an updated Ampere Connect app.

Behind the scenes, the broader connected suite covers real-time charging status, live tracking, geo-fencing, theft and tow alerts, remote diagnostics, service booking, charging history, and battery health insights.

Ampere has also added OTA update support, though its true value will depend entirely on how consistently the brand delivers meaningful software improvements.

Under the skin, the 3 kWh LFP battery, 142 km certified range, 2.4 kW peak output, 65 kmph top speed, 33-litre boot, and 5-year/75,000 km warranty all carry over.
At its new price, the Magnus G Max closely competes with the TVS Orbiter on features, alongside the Ola S1 X, which undercuts the Ampere on starting price.
