Kawasaki has revamped the Ninja 500 with a new Lime Green livery for 2026.
Priced at Rs. 5.76 lakh (ex-showroom), the updated model is Rs 10,000 more expensive than the outgoing version. Since it is a CBU (completely built up) product for the Indian market, the taxes are quite high comparatively.

Apart from the new Lime Green colour option, the 2026 Ninja 500 remains largely unchanged from the outgoing model.

It is powered by a 451 cc parallel-twin engine, producing 44.7 hp @9000 rpm and 42.6 Nm of torque @6000 rpm, mated to a six-speed transmission with an assist-and-slipper clutch.
The Ninja 500 also features a lightweight trellis frame and includes features like telescopic forks, Uni-Trak gas-charged shock with adjustable spring pre-load for the rear suspension, and disc brakes at both the front and rear, dual-channel ABS, an LCD display with smartphone connectivity, and all LED lighting.
Speaking of competition, the Aprilia RS457 is the closest rival to the Ninja 500.
