Harley-Davidson has announced pricing for its 2025 range of imported cruiser and adventure touring motorcycles in India. While the entire 2024 lineup is carried forward, some models have received modest price adjustments, especially in the Softail family.
Two exclusive CVO (Custom Vehicle Operations) models are also confirmed to launch later this year, boosting the brand's premium appeal.
Sportster Family
The Sportster family continues to serve as Harley-Davidson’s entry-level segment, blending classic styling cues with modern powertrains. Powered by the liquid-cooled Revolution Max V-Twin engines in 975cc (Nightster series) and 1,252cc (Sportster S), these motorcycles are compact, agile, and geared toward younger riders or those new to Harley ownership.
The Nightster offers minimalist design and light handling characteristics, making it ideal for daily urban use, while the Nightster Special adds pillion-friendly features and a TFT display for more versatility. The Sportster S stands at the top of this range, with aggressive styling and a high-performance motor that produces 121 hp—ideal for riders wanting modern tech and spirited performance wrapped in a Harley silhouette.
Softail Family
The Softail range represents the soul of Harley-Davidson’s heritage, offering low-slung cruiser silhouettes with a blend of old-school charm and cutting-edge powertrains. For 2025, the Softail lineup sees a major shift, with the Fat Bob discontinued and the Street Bob making its debut in India. Most Softail models now get the upgraded 117CI Milwaukee-Eight engine, delivering improved torque and highway cruising ability.
The Street Bob is expected to be one of the most affordable 117CI cruisers, targeting customizers and purists alike. The Heritage Classic gets a surprising Rs 3.34 lakh price cut, making it a more accessible retro-cruiser with saddlebag-equipped touring capability. The Fat Boy retains its bold design and solid wheels, now with more power, while the Breakout leads the pack with stretched-out proportions and drag-bike-like styling for the boldest road presence.
Touring Family
Harley-Davidson’s Touring lineup is built for riders who love the open highway and long-distance comfort. Often called “baggers,” these motorcycles feature large fairings, hard saddlebags, premium infotainment systems, and now the robust Milwaukee-Eight 117CI engine.
The 2025 Street Glide continues with its fork-mounted batwing fairing and urban-cruiser appeal, while the Road Glide distinguishes itself with a frame-mounted sharknose fairing for added wind stability on extended journeys. Both bikes have seen a price hike of Rs 51,000 but come loaded with Harley's latest tech, top-tier comfort features, and signature road presence, catering to highway tourers who want the ultimate in cruising luxury.
Adventure Touring
The Pan America 1250 Special remains Harley-Davidson’s sole ADV offering and stands out in a segment dominated by European rivals. Equipped with a high-revving, liquid-cooled Revolution Max 1250 engine producing 150 horsepower, it combines tech-forward functionality with adventure-ready ruggedness.
Its adjustable ride height, advanced rider modes, and long-travel suspension make it surprisingly capable both on and off-road. With a price increase of Rs 46,000 for 2025, the Pan America continues to challenge conventional adventure bikes like the BMW R 1300 GS and Ducati Multistrada V4 while offering the distinct character of an American V-Twin.
CVO Family
Harley-Davidson’s Custom Vehicle Operations (CVO) models sit at the pinnacle of its portfolio, representing the brand’s most luxurious, powerful, and feature-loaded motorcycles. Slated for a late-2025 launch in India, the upcoming CVO Road Glide and CVO Street Glide will raise the bar in terms of craftsmanship, exclusivity, and performance.
With larger engines (typically 121CI or more), these bikes will come equipped with next-gen infotainment, high-end audio systems, premium materials, and bespoke paint finishes. Though official pricing hasn’t been disclosed, expectations place these models well above Rs 50 lakh, cementing their position as ultra-premium cruisers aimed at discerning enthusiasts.

Harley-Davidson is doubling down on its India strategy, not only by expanding its product line but also enhancing its dealership network, especially in Tier-2 cities. Online reports suggest rising interest in premium cruisers and ADVs, which justifies the incoming CVO models. The price cut on the Heritage Classic and the standardization of the 117CI engine show Harley’s efforts to refresh its lineup while maintaining its iconic appeal.
The discontinuation of the Fat Bob may disappoint loyal fans, but the more affordable, lightweight Street Bob is expected to fill the void well.
