The next-generation Toyota Fortuner has been spied testing in Thailand, marking the first clear look at a full generational update for one of India’s most popular ladder-frame SUVs. Expected to launch globally by late 2026 and in India by early 2027, the new model will ride on the updated IMV platform shared with the latest Toyota Hilux. Spy shots reveal sharper styling, a more modern front end, and a connected tail-light design while retaining the tough, upright stance. It is likely to keep strong diesel and petrol engines with possible mild-hybrid tech later, aiming to blend proven capability with improved comfort and tech.
